Chris is a core writer for BBC Scotland's flagship continuing drama series RIVER CITY (BBC Studios), as well as writing for THE DUMPING GROUND and script editing new sitcom HIGH HOOPS (both CBBC). He is co-creator and co-writer of the cycling sitcom, SADDLED (Gusman Productions) on BBC Radio Scotland.
Prior to this Chris was a story producer on 5 series of SCOT SQUAD and script edited 3 series of GARY: TANK COMMANDER (both for The Comedy Unit/ BBC1 Scotland). He co-wrote series 3 of TANK COMMANDER, as well as producing Gary’s BAFTA Scotland nominated ELECTION SPECIAL, script editing the MISSION QUITE POSSIBLE (Mick Perrin) live show and co-writing the Hogmanay special: GARY GOES TO HOLLYWOOD (Objective).
He has written two plays: MEAT MARKET and OUTSIDE IN for Oran Mor's 'A Play, a Pie and a Pint' season, and wrote sketches for shows including MEANWHILE IT’S WILL & GREG and RECORDED FOR TRAINING PURPOSES for Radio 4 and THEM FROM THAT THING (Zeppotron), ANNA & KATY (Rough Cut) and SCOTLAND IN A DAY (Comedy Unit) for Channel 4.
