Bio
Emma is the set designer for Tony award-winning and highly decorated musical sensation SIX! THE MUSICAL which is currently playing to audiences globally. She graduated from the prestigious Motley Theatre Design Course in 2010 and in 2011 she was awarded the Linbury Prize for Stage Design for her production of Roy Orbison In Clingfilm at the Royal Opera House. She has been a JMK finalist three times, she was awarded Best Design in The 2024 Critics Awards for Theatre in Scotland for ANNA KARENINA (Edinburgh Lyceum), she received the Maria Bjornson Fellowship Prize from the Royal College of Music in 2020 and she was nominated for Outstanding Scenic Design in a Musical in the 2022 Drama Desk Awards. She trained at the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2011 and has gone on to design for theatre, opera, music and fashion shoots. Emma has run workshops with the National Theatre, RSC, Tricycle and Young Vic and she is a part of Store, a London-based association of artists, architects and designers who promote an educational programme of art and architecture courses and a socially engaged design practice.
