Bio

Jack (he/they) is a UK based writer/director (and high-end drama editor). Jack has been supported by some of the industry’s leading talent development programmes including Berlinale Talents 2023, Channel 4 RI:SE with DANC/Triple C 2022, Cinesud's Talent to Cannes 2022, BFI Flare x BAFTA Crew 2021 and BFI Network Weekender 2019

Jack has received development funding for his debut feature Boifriend from Short Circuit (BFI Network/Screen Scotland). His short film Everyman (2021) won multiple awards - most notably the RTS award for Short Form - and screened at over a dozen BAFTA and Oscar qualifying festivals around the world. His next short Who I Am Now (2022) was funded by Creative Scotland and LEAP and premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. In 2018 he won the Production Attic pitch at the BAFTA qualifying Glasgow Short Film Festival for his short film Bouba & Kiki (2019).
