Jenna Al-Ansari

Jenna is a Bahraini-British writer, living in London. She is currently developing original projects with Monumental Television, Five Acts and South of the River Pictures as well as writing an original feature film for Working Title. She has recently been in the writersroom for a series Phoebe Waller-Bridge is developing for Amazon Studios, and also for a Vertigo Films series for Sky. She won the inaugural Sister Pictures/South of the River Screenshot competition in 2021 and also won the winner of the Sky Arts RSL Screenwriting Award 2022.

Jenna also works with OKRE and The Wellcome Trust supporting the development of television, video games and films which contribute to a better understanding of subjects such as planetary emergency, mental health, poverty and migration.
