Jodie Ashdown

Jodie is a writer and freelance script editor based in South Wales. Her TV pilot MOUSE CIRCUS featured on the Brit List 2022 and is currently in development with Boom Cymru. Jodie was recently a 2022 Edinburgh Festival's One to Watch and was part of the 2019/2020 BBC Writersroom Welsh Voices. Her TV credits include DOCTORS and CASUALTY including the episode 'Confidence and Paranoia' which won the RTS award for Continuing Drama. 

Jodie's feature script SPRING TIDE was selected for the global Attagirl Development Lab, where it was awarded the development prize grant. Other credits include the shorts THE MACHINE (Focus Shift Films), LEONARD’S NEIGHBOURS (It’s My Shout) and the radio drama TAPPED OUT (Radio Cardiff). Theatre credits include EMILY (Play in a Day) and ANAMNESIS 25:12 (Mercury Theatre Wales).
