John Biddle

John is a composer and sound designer based in Leeds.

Current and forthcoming projects include: The Willows (BBC Radio), Still Floating (Shôn Dale-Jones), The Good Girl (Mary Jane Wells, Kennedy Center DC, Capital Theatres), The Family Sex Show (This Egg), Nothing Happens (Twice) (Little Soldier Productions).

Previous projects include: Possible (National Theatre Wales), Dead Honest (winner British Podcast Award 2021), Oliver Twist (Leeds Playhouse/Ramps On The Moon), Murder on the Links (winner Audiofile Magazine Earphone Award 2021) and Frankenstein, (LATW, Los Angeles), The Railway Children, Prince Charming’s Christmas Cracker, Peter Pan, Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol, Treasure Island (Hull Truck), Still Floating, The Ladder (Hoipolloi), The Borrowers, Henry V, Twelfth Night, Swallows and Amazons (Storyhouse/Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre, Chester), Muckers (Caroline Horton/Conde Duque Madrid/The Egg Bath), Kes (Leeds Playhouse), Unconditional (This Egg), Queen of Chapeltown (Leeds Playhouse), John has transcribed several theatrical scores for Kneehigh and the National Theatre.

John is an associate artist of The Egg, Bath.

John is also an actor.  He has worked in a several regional theatres including Sheffield Crucible, Theatre Royal, Bath and Dukes Lancaster as well as taking roles in film, television and BBC Radio drama productions.
