Kate Elmer

Kate is a comedy writer from North Yorkshire, who won the Funny Women Comedy Writing Award 2020 for her script MULCH WANTED. Prior to this she joined the writers’ room at Roughcut TV for BLOODS (Sky). In 2017 she was selected for the BBC Comedy Room Writersroom scheme. Kate studied an MA in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and has previously taken part in the Royal Court Playwriting programme.
