Bio
Kirsty’s BAFTA Rocliffe winning script I AM NO BIRD is in development with Lime Pictures. Her sitcom script POOR COW was longlisted for the Funny Women Writing Award in 2019.
Her play JANE HAIR: THE BRONTE’S RESTYLED, will tour theatres in 2020. The play is funded by The Arts Council and The Bronte Society and is co-written with Kat Rose Martin.
Kirsty is working on a slate of original ideas for TV and film with writing partner Lucy Dwyer. They are developing series ARE YOU HAPPY? with Lime Pictures and have written action comedy feature Super G’s for BFI Vision Awardee Lunar Lander Films.
Their drama series DIRTY WORK was a finalist in Sid Gentle’s Thousand Films Screenwriting Contest and sitcom LOST GIRLS was a finalist in the All3Media New Comedy Script Award. Kirsty & Lucy met developing ideas for comedy television, between them they have written many hours of voiceover for broadcast shows.
Before writing Kirsty worked as a Producer and Director making and developing comedy and magic programming for BBC, ITV, SKY, MTV and Channel 4, her book ‘How To Have a Baby & Not Lose Your Shit’ was based on her award-winning comedy parenting blog www.eehbahmum.com.
