Kit Buchan

Kit Buchan’s poems have been published in Poetry Review, The White Review, Magma, Five Dials, Clinic, PERVERSE and The Best British Poetry anthology, and commended in the Poetry London and Ware Poets competitions.

He also writes for musical theatre with composer Jim Barne. Their first musical TWO STRANGERS (CARRY A CAKE ACCROSS NEW YORK) won the Stage Debut Award and the Stiles & Drewe Prize. Its 2023 Kiln Theatre production broke box office records and transferred to the Criterion Theatre on the West End, where it ran for 170 performances. They met when they were nine years old, though they wish to make it clear that they are now almost four times that age.
