Matilda's comedy-drama series PROGRESS (co-created and written with Amy Stacy) is in developmemt with Potboiler/Channel 4.
She studied animation at the Royal College of Art and has worked on many pre-school animation series. She is currently showrunner of a new series based on Lucy Cousin's MAISY books for Trustrbridge Entertainment. She was co-creator and co-writer for THE ADVENTURES OF ABNEY AND TEAL (Ragdoll Productions/CBeebies) and has also written epsiodes of SARAH AND DUCK (Karrot/CBeebies), OLOBOB TOP (Beakus/CBeebies) PEPPA PIG (Elf Factory/Nick Jr.) MORPH (Aardman/Sky Kids) and VERY SMALL CREATURES (Aardman/Sky Kids) among others.
Matilda also writes comics for adults. Her graphic novel, PROBABLY NOTHING, is published by Penguin and being adapted for television by Fable Pictures (ROCKS, WILD ROSE). Her book about drawing, MY YEAR IN SMALL DRAWINGS, is published by Quarto.
