Nick Barnes

Nick is an innovative theatre designer and puppet maker with over 20 years experience, and until recently he was co-artistic director of renowned puppetry company, Blind Summit.   He designed made and operated the puppets for their productions including notably THE SPACEMAN, LOW LIFE, CALL OF THE WILD, THE TABLE (Fringe First) and MADAME BUTTERFLY directed by Anthony Minghella at ENO which has been revived repeatedly. His previous work as a designer includes MISS SAIGON (Malmo) SHOWBOAT (Tirole Landesteater Innsbruck), MARTIN GUERRE (Odense, Denmark) and WEST SIDE STORY (Innsbruck), BOMBITTY OF ERRORS (West End) , CROWNING GLORY and THE INFIDEL (Theatre Royal Stratford East)
