Bio
S.L. Page is a writer and artist from the North-East of England. They currently have a TV show in development with HTM Television, which they are working on as creator and writer. They are also working on a feature film with development funding from the BFI, and a documentary with funding from OKRE. Their previous play, GAZE, sold out at Northern Stage, whilst their audio drama NEW WOMEN was described by BBC News as "smashing the box of disabled feminism". They identify as disabled, neurodiverse, queer and genderfluid, and these experiences are often themes in their work. They love horror, especially when it uses the raw power of terrifying imagery to explore themes to do with mental health, and how we exist in our bodies. They have written about film for the Guardian and Little White Lies.
