Sara Nourizadeh

Originally from South Wales, Sara is an Iranian-Welsh Writer, Producer and Director with a background in documentary making. Sara has recently transitioned into drama screenwriting and is developing a comedy-drama series, BUBBLES (Expectation Entertainment). Sara has been selected for BAFTA Connect and BBC New Voices 2024. Her documentary credits include The Grierson nominated AGONY AND ECSTASY: A YEAR AT THE ENGLISH NATIONAL BALLET (BBC), KIDS WITH CAMERAS: DIARY OF A CHILDREN’S WARD (ITV) and LIGHTING THE THAMES (Channel 4). More recently, Sara has been producing and directing a feature documentary, HOPE [OMID], which is about the plight of refugee children, this is through her production company, Avalanche Productions.
