Shaun McKenna

Shaun is an award-winning screenwriter and Olivier nominated playwright and lyricist. He has recently been commissioned to co-write the book for a Danish musical featuring the songs of Lennon and McCartney.  Shaun has now adapted four Peter James thrillers, which have successfully toured the UK and a fifth is in preparation. Theatre credits include LAST DANCE (New York 2012), 2012’s stage version of LADIES IN LAVENDER and four West End musicals, notably THE LORD OF THE RINGS. His extensive BBC radio credits include THE FORSYTES (2017), CHINA TOWNS (2019) and the COMPLETE SMILEY.  He was a core writer on HOME FRONT (2014-18) and lead writer for three seasons. TV credits include LIKE FATHER LIKE SON (Ecosse/ITV) and three series of HEARTBEAT (ITV).
