Bio
Steven Moffat was the co-creator, writer and executive producer of SHERLOCK (Hartswood/BBC) and DRACULA (Hartswood/BBC/Netflix). From 2009-2017 Steven was the lead writer and executive producer of BBC One's flagship show, DOCTOR WHO.
Steven's credits include the feature film TINTIN, the TV adaptation of THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE (Hartswood/HBO/SKY ATLANTIC), the TV series THE INSIDE MAN (Hartswood/BBC/NETFLIX), JEKYLL and an executive producer on other Hartswood Films productions.
Steven's earlier work includes all 43 episodes of the teen drama series PRESS GANG and the sitcoms COUPLING, CHALK AND JOKING APART. His debut play THE UNFRIEND recently transferred to the West End after premiering at Chichester Festival Theatre.
Steven's numerous awards include BAFTAs for PRESS GANG and DOCTOR WHO, two BAFTAs and two EMMYs for SHERLOCK and the BAFTA Special Award in 2012. In 2015 he was created an OBE for services to drama.
