Tim's television film and theatrical movie credits include THE BORDER, RAPA NUI, SHUTTLECOCK, A DANGEROUS MAN (International Emmy, Best Drama) and THE SERPENT'S KISS.

He has written extensively for BBC Radio, plays including BLOOD LINE, features including CAPTAIN COOK, A GOD IN THE PACIFIC and serials.

His stage plays include RIB and THE BLIND SALAMANDA at The Act Inn, LUCKY BLIGHTER at The Three Choirs fringe and I B GURNEY for The Edinburgh Festival.

He has worked as a lyricist for Charlie Chaplin, Herbert Chappell and wrote TIME PIECE and others for Paul Patterson, as well as VOICES OF SLEEP for the BBC Proms. With Chris Gunning he wrote RAINBOW PLANET, a children’s opera, for West 11 and in collaboration with David Hare and Nick Bicât he wrote THE KNIFE, an opera commissioned for The New York Public Theater by Joe Papp.
