Wanda Opalińska

Wanda loves telling stories. She has co-created DAISY HURST which is currently in development with DCD Rights. Her romcom feature with Reel One starts shooting in the US this month.

A graduate of the WFTV Mentoring Scheme, Wanda is also an experienced comedy writer: she was part of the Jongleurs’ Comedy Factory writing room, has written and performed in live sketch comedy (Soho Theatre, Gilded Balloon) and co-wrote the comedy TV pilot THREE WOMEN IN TIME (Dir: Graeme Harper).

Other work includes co-creating the light entertainment format I SANG IT MY WAY, which was a finalist at the MIPCOM International Pitching Competition and developing a contemporary police series that was optioned by Thunderclap Media.

Wanda is also a prolific actress with roles across television, film, theatre and radio.
